Just do what the guys in the middle east do. Beat them over the head until they listen. As I repeated before, in India guards and cops usually just get sticks to whack people since they only start listening after registering physical pain.

That's why I find it laughable Indians are grouped in with east Asians. No one really groups Arabs with east Asians. And Indians seem to be more in alignment with those guys. Hell millions of Indians even have the same religion.

That's the problem with a lot of these decisions. You don't get to see any results until way later.

My opinion is that this whole tariff then exemption was planned in advance. Recall the meetings between US-Canada-China before the tariffs dropped.

If you read the actual tariff remission notice, I think the no EV resale into US is the key point, since Canada was already hinting that it was mostly the US forcing Canada to apply the tariffs. Canada starting a trade war with China also doesn't make sense in the first place, I'm hopeful there might be BYDs in Canada in the future.

EV resale into US was not allowed to be tax free anyway under the USMCA. There are rules making sure what products can be regarded as Canadian or Mexican made. The idea of China is going to use Canada/Mexico as the backdoor was just rhetoric for imposing the tariffs.

What's the difference? If Indian troops are allowed to patrol area 1 and 2 as shown in my quoted map, that's effectively giving them that piece of land.
