See, this is why China sucks at 'soft power'. Always hide when criticism surface, even if justified. If they have nothing to hide, why censor happy? It raise people's suspicion for no good reason. And you dont want suspicious citizen, they will make up even more bullshits to fill the blanks, just this time without government knowing. Eventually distrust rise high enough to raise traitors.
Well the rule of the workplace especially when it's bureaucratic is always give as little information as possible to keep everyone guessing.

It's just the way China works sadly. Even old Chinese was very context based and difficult to understand the meaning.

India better not have stalled yuan internationalisation in brics
It definitely will. India's FM Jaishankar already hinted at that recently.

The Chinese government didn't even explain what happened on the border in 2020. According to 茶话会 the incident occurred because the local commanders got uppity and suddenly wanted to attack the Chinese for no reason. I think the more obvious explanation, and one that doesn't give face for Modi is that Covid really impacted his ratings domestically, and he needed something to take the attention away.

Trading away land is not the big deal here, PRC has given away many lands along its border for peace and cooperation. Trading away land to a bordering fascist country which views you as the #1 enemy and has no intention of changing is.

It sounds like the EU wants to use the threat of a trade war as leverage in hopes that Trump will bend over for project Ukraine. Given how Trump acts. Probably more likely to backfire.
Why shld they want to be seen as "tough with china"? Like if they will negotiate w Trump, wont "tough with trump" be more convincing? Instead of damaging relatikns w Cn or they see CN as not as aggressive as U S?

Land itself is not main issue. Show weakness to depraved Brahmin only invite more aggression, than if no trade at all.

The right way to deal with Indians is follow what west does, who have been succesful. Like that "Hidenburg report". Once sufficient insult and pain afflicted they be like "sar phull sappart to BRICS sarr".
