I think Russia will prefer North Korea becomes a high tech manufacturing country and not rely on construction or farm workers.
large scale construction in unknown area is like managing a prolong war. workers have to reside in camps , rotation of workers and the inexperience will need to learn on job the skills of complex construction. If you apply the logic of Ukraine conflict than i think opportunity will also be given to new people to learn it and Gulf Arabs will have important role in it. you see this picture of a new Russian city. I didnot show the full picture. It is not just the look but only few thousand people reside in it. It is this soft power that make things happen and that soft power Far East was lacking.

Yes the West in panic losing their narrative on the world. How? Just because someone on something like YouTube where one of their own citizens says something contrary to their narrative. It's a big conspiracy by China because if they're saying something nice about China, they must be being paid... Remember how a US Winter Olympics athlete said something nice about his experience in China on pre-Elon Musk Twitter and he got banned? The hypocrites have been doing the same as they charge.
I use to watch a lot of fanboy movie channels on YouTube and there are some where all they do is repeat Republican talking points on Hollywood. One guy on his channel gets a lot of criticism because his early videos when he started is quite the opposite of what he says now on certain subjects and his critics were reposting those original videos. What was his response? He posts one of his videos of his show from his new sports car meaning he's a shill and is getting paid. Look at Joe Rogan. He wasn't a liberal but he wasn't perpetuating Republican talking points either. Now that's all he does. I bet Peter Zeihan is being paid not that he didn't believe these things before but I never heard of him before he was on... Joe Rogan's show.
The US is not use to being criticized by their own measures. Just look at the aftermath of Alaska when Blinken met with the Chinese who countered Western criticism of human rights in China with George Floyd. He was in panic trying convince the world George Floyd was a unique case by inviting a UN human rights official to investigate the US. Look at how Marco Rubio thinks there's a giant conspiracy against the US just because someone says something nice about China...
Why block them? DPP head would gladly eat them raw.

I'm just glad there are enough sensible compatriots across the Strait who will look out for the health of fellow Chinese. Not even chlorine chicken peddling, racpactomine pork americans accept glowing green radioactive japanese fish from the Simpsons so why should Chinese?
