Precisely. Given the airliner in the back, its a Mi-28 in a Chinese airport. What's the Mi-28 doing there in the first place?

I've never heard any event that the Mi-28 went to China. Why don't you think that the China airliner flew to Russia?

I am guessing the Mi-28 is there in China for a Chinese defense military exhibition, either the Zhuhai event or the one in Beijing. Its not like the first time it happened before, since the Ka-50 Hokum was also sent to China for exhibits.

just saw this on huitong's site, looking like the first Z-10 photo in the PLA camo. Interesting stuff.

That photo has been around for awhile, and it always looked like a CG model to me.

so, I saw this photo of Z-9 serving in the army aviation, looks to be a SAR version. Now, I don't follow LH that much, but does anyone else think this version seems to be more stealthy than the normal Z-9s that we see?

Not sure about the SAR part, but it definitely has an optical ball IRST for optical and infrared search and targeting purposes.

It might be hard to see but the white part underneath the wing stub are two loudspeakers, and right next to them are search lights.

I've made the conclusion based on all the equipment, that's its a search and rescue helicopter, configured from the experience of the recent earthquake. The pod on top of the speakers and searchlight might be a radar.
