No time being wasted the gun is installed and the rotor blades are fitted

Not long before they fly !

Josh, I edited your post. Please try and be a little more descriptive when posting links...not just the URL please.

Will Z-10s ultimately replace all 50+ Cobras?

Who knows. That's a lot of helicopters. Perhaps they will. They are definitely newer, and Pakistan is leaning closer and closer to the PRC.

The older Cobras, though getting aged, are still fantastic choppers.

But it is not likely that the US will sell the new AH-1Z Vipers (which are all new builds with four blades and more powerful engines and capabilities close to the AH-64D Apaches) to Pakistan to upgrade them.

Three WZ-10 simply won't be replacing anything.

It's a gift rather than a full Pakistani purchase that would have undergone multiple feasibility and capability reviews.

Now the only things that are missing would be a new pair of turboshafts and a MMW radar

That's why I asked..."Will the Z-10s ultimately replace all 50+ Cobras."

I did not mention the three alone.

It was not my assertion that these three alone would replace them...rather, wondering it the Pakistanis, as a result of getting these three, will ultimately decide to replace the Cobras with Z-10s in the future.
