OK fair enough. I can respect and appreciate that.

But second question still stands besides the engine discussion. Heat shields. Why are they not there?!?! I'm sure the designers know the importance of reducing IR signature. Unless I'm oblivious to something that is obvious or maybe it was discussed on this thread that I missed or something. Heat shield thing has always bugged me.

because the IR suppression reduces the engine output by 10-20% according to Desperado in CDF, and the engines on WZ-10 are probably not powerful enough to have the heat shield and provide enough performance.
