The copy the Swedish accusation is about as silly as saying Ericsson is copying Huawei's 5G tech. No it is not. It uses the same concepts and principles to create an ecosystem of products that will inevitably resemble a great deal of other similar ones. It's by no coincidence well engineered designs for very specific tasks are always so similar. Yes there are often different ways to achieve purposes which lead to different products but they are more often the same then they are not.
Unless one is that much further ahead (or behind) in the basic sciences for a particular piece of technology, they will often end up using similar solutions since there are such a finite number of economic and effective realistic ways to achieve an outcome. The carrier AWACS aircraft from China is identical in overall design as the American one which is identical to the Russian one (US preceded the other two). They saw something that works and understood why it is designed that way etc but the internals are always going to be very different regardless and so minor differences eventually make their way to the surface as well in order to accommodate unique sub-systems. This would be true for any piece of Chinese military hardware that is at least designed based on a known and proven overall design. The kilo and even improved kilo class imported didn't even have AIP.
