Not really. It looks like an elongated Kilo. The sail and the hump are more inline with the Kilo.

If this is true, it looks like the PLAN is about to retire it’s 877EKM Kilo fleet anytime soon. An excellent upgrade to what is still a potent submarine.

I doubt this is a "modified Kilo". First, the only 877EKMs PLAN introduced serve in ESF. Second, no suspect has been found in 4802, 4805, 32nd Flotilla, and 42nd Flotilla. Third, the strange new configuration fits exactly to the one originated from the TV series 《深海利剑》.
