Now what! This world cup has been curved. All the weak turn out to be strong while the strong are so disappointing. From the view of gambling, all Slovakia, Portugal and Brazil were all lost.

not to mention spain just lost to switzerland. I still think they have a chance to win the world cup tho :p

And then you have that S.A>. Goalie red carded....... was it deserved or even a intentional foul, as a goalie hes allowed to spread himself in a vain attempt to stop the shot.

Chile winning a game after 45 odd yrs, YAY !!!!!!:) (only because I backed them with my $8 and now for Eng tomorrow.

some good football from argentina today, i thought messi was excellent even though he didnt score. however if they dont work on their defence they will pay by the time they get to disqualification rounds. it really should have been 4-0 instead of 4-1

france on the other hand deserved to lose, they suck so much.

i agree
france sucked bullocks of crap without zidane
most of the european teams are performing pretty bad so far except for the germans
they costed me $20

It seems there are no exception anymore. All European teams have been performing badly so far. Serbia beats German today.

the ref should take part of the blame...but poldoski really should have done better

its like i said, they peaked too early, hopefully after this game germany will be able to get back on track. they are still a good team, able to mount some pretty close attacks after losing klose

Dear oh dear, what an awful game from England. Can't really criticise any one player easily because, apart from James, so many were rubbish!

Already Capello is being blamed by some for being "too" tough. I can't agree with that, with the sort of mistakes they've been making even I'd go Uday Hussein on them. ;)

Oh well, at least if this continues there won't be any distraction from the tennis, which I've been looking forward to a lot more. :eek:
