The team was a joke, bar James and Barry. There were a few moments where I thought the tide had turned, but they were only moments.

But to be honest I can't remember the last time England actually did well at an international football tournament. 1990, I think - maybe 2002.

Look like the Europeans aren't going to get any champion this world cup. Which will be your ideal team to get the world cup? Argentina? The best performance team up to today. As long as I remember, Argentina has not got any world champion for a very very long time.

Already Capello is being blamed by some for being "too" tough. I can't agree with that, with the sort of mistakes they've been making even I'd go Uday Hussein on them. ;)

No I don't blame Capello either as England are just playing in the usual half arsed manner that seems to be their norm, irrespective of who is managing them.

There are afterall some things you just can't polish!

NZ drew with Italy. Now thats gonna be one in the eye for them since they were rubbishing the NZ team And not only that, the Italian player took a dive :nana:
