netherlands-denmark game will be tight since both are quite evenly matched
why dont u buy some other ones?

I prefer to make my selections on the one ticket 6 selections all up, that way whats done is done. I find it harder to make one bet and if it wins , put it on another and so on, one can get nervous as the amount of money increases.

But Im breaking my rule as my last remaining $5 bet $8now) Im, betting singularly.

Anyway I went off and watched Russell Peters to chear myself up. I reckon his Chinese /Indian skits are quite funny, and yes to what he asks, howcome 2 countries totalling 2.5billion people, cant get their teams in.

I like listening to the National Anthems I reckon the Germans have the best. Actually the Canadian ones not bad , but theyre not there. Eng Australia NZ but wheres canada?:D

Lost my main multibet with England going down, but still got two $5 multis going as interest only. They both had Germany as the anchor , and one had the korean win as well, now I need Camaroon, Italy, Netherlands and Slovakia to win. The other $5 bet which is now worth $8 because of the german win, I might put on Eng again eh?

However im a little nervous with the Netherland Denmark game

Your bet take you too long to know the result; however, among the four teams that you are waiting for, I worry about Italy and Netherlands for you. Good luck! By the way, is betting legal at your place?

Well its only a fun bet/ otherwise i would not have taken Italy, they play a monotonous, purposeful, and defensive game, argghhh

Netherlands play quite entertainingly and I like backing them as a fun bet

yes betting is legal here

China qualified for World Cup only once so far, in 2002. Didn't go very far as they got knocked out during the group stage. After that, the corruption in their soccer league has caused the standard of their teams to drop quite badly. So much so that they can't qualify for the 2006 and 2010 World Cup. And yes, the authorities are getting serious in fighting corruption in their soccer league.

Anyway, I was quite surprised that the Germans stumped the Socceroos 4-0. Its not very often in a German game when more than 2 goals are scored.

As for the up-coming Netherlands-Denmark game, the Oranje will likely be obsessed with playing a beautiful game rather than winning. Again. Nonetheless, they should get through the group stage into the quarters.

cbc online streaming, i think that's the only site that has the right to broadcast it live in canada.

I'm in taiwan right right now, watching it on a website called live2010worldcup just watched netherlands vs denmark and japan vs cameroon, netherlands was good, the japan cameroon game slightly boring, though the last 10mins was ok.

FIFA says it's okay to blow horns. Now that I know what is it, I don't mind at all and, who knows, I may even start to enjoy it like the Afrikans do. I'm actually starting to like it. :nana: :nana: :nana:

FIFA backs fans on blowing loud horns at Cup

updated 10:27 a.m. ET June 14, 2010
JOHANNESBURG - FIFA President Sepp Blatter has defended South African fans' right to blow their vuvuzela horns at World Cup matches despite global criticism from television viewers of the constant blaring noise.

Edit: Opps sorry, wrong thread.
The head of soccer's governing body says Africa has "a different rhythm, a different sound," and the fans' tradition shouldn't be stopped.

Blatter asks in a Twitter message: "Would you want to see a ban on the fan traditions in your country?"

are you sure about that???=Dsaudi arabia and costa rica would be rising in protest.

personally i lament missing this game, germany vs costa rica four years ago was the best possible WC opener you can have.

Oh yeah I forgot about that one, perhaps its because they werent memorable, like the NK's in 1966 where they really caught the other teams out with their extreme fitness, loosing to Portugal 5/3 in the quarters what a game. I dont think I have seen any Asian team , play as well in an international against a highly rated European team since. Wasnt it slightly easier for China to get in as Korea and Japan had automatic entries?

I think China should have qualified in 82 they were a more skillful team than NZ. To beat them NZ decided to play a more physical game
