Nice pics....

It's funny how similar the 125mm grenades looks comparing to 122mm "piggyes". Also take notice of the last pic. Those cans where the russian troopers eat from are exactly the same what we used. I've remebering telling something about them in the past, well now you know what i'm talking about
...only exeption that we weren't allow to wear any hats during the eating...

Something different

A Russian AN-124 Condor aircraft lands at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, New Orleans from the Netherlands to deliver a diesel powered water pump in support of Hurricane Katrina relief efforts

Yigo, Guam (Nov. 16, 2005) – A U.S. Navy MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, assigned to the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Two Five (HSC-25), maneuvers over the taxiway of Andersen Air Force Base (AFB) on the U.S. territory of Guam. Behind the Seahawk is a U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer bomber assigned to the 34th Bomb Squadron. Yes boys B-1b's are really on Guam.

Germark, your pics might be protected by copyright, or the site you got them from does not allow direct pasting, much like sinodefence.

experimental craft...

Atlantic Ocean (Jan. 17, 2006) - A RQ-8A Fire Scout Vertical Takeoff and Landing Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV) System prepares for the first autonomous landing aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Nashville (LPD 13). With an on-station endurance of over four hours, the Fire Scout system is capable of continuous operations, providing coverage at 110 nautical miles from the launch site. Utilizing a baseline payload that includes electro-optical/infrared sensors and a laser rangefinder /designator, Fire Scout can find and identify tactical targets, track and designate targets, accurately provide targeting data to strike platforms, employ precision weapons, and perform battle damage assessment.

San Diego (Jan. 31, 2006) - The experimental boat ship "Stiletto" shown moored in San Diego. Stiletto is more than 80 feet in length and has a carbon-composite hull, which assist the boat to travel at speeds more than 50 knots. The boat will be used to transport special operations forces to their mission quickly. Here's a link about this boat..I'm sure some in this forum will be intrested. High res pic included!
