I whole heartedly believe that to be untrue, Zelenskyy does not wish to see the streets littered with his dead countrymen, that statement in itself is very idiotic knowing that NATO will never directly intervene on Ukraines behalf.

Comments like this are unproductive and one sided.
Then why Zelenskyy is giving weapons to civilians and criminals and encourage them to use molotov cocktails against a well armed modern military force. These people would have zero chance to make an impact of stopping the Russian troops' advancement. Their deaths would not have any value.

Deep in your heart, you know that Zelenskyy is just sending these people to died. Zelenskyy might not think NATO would directly intervene but he wants and knows that NATO can do lot more.

You don't really know him. What you perceive is a persona carefully crafted by PR team, if you really want to judge a person, judge it by his action.

If he doesn't want to see dead Ukrainian, would he have antagonized Russia to such extreme? He had to know he was playing with fire right? Now that the war started the best chance to minimize casualty would be to quickly strike a peace deal with Russia, yet he seems to more interested in dragging this war for as long as possible?

For what? To damage Russia at the cost of Ukrainian life? No matter how you see it his action is not rational, his action will only leads to more and more Ukrainian death.

You say this, but every granny that dies holding a molotov in their hands makes Ukraine fight harder.
Not everyone has to die, just a constant trickle of patriots and martyrs to keep Ukrainian resolve up.
They aren’t being forced to fight back though, if human nature dictates that they are self destructive so be it; it’s better to die for something you believe in then to die under occupation of a foreign military.

You have to consider that there is a reason why the Ukrainians are fighting, this is there country, there homeland, they had war declared on them not the other way around. The Russians? Most of them are conscripts who were told that they were being moved to Belarus for a training exercise. Many of them; except the Chechens; don’t want to fight and don’t understand why they are fighting.

There isn’t some big boogie man that threatens peace and causes war, it’s people, we’re all human and life is more complicated than pinning blame on any one person.

Your argument doesn’t work, Russia invaded Ukraine, arguably unprovoked.

Why would you surrender to a foreign aggressor that’s already predetermined that they will dismantle your nation and change your way of life permanently?

If the Ukrainian government had surrendered its very likely the people would still fight it’s occupiers regardless. It’s a war of aggression simple as that and many of you don’t seem realize that or the realities of war.

Ukraine asks China to mediate a ceasefire.
I guess this is the answer to the question why Chinese nationals got special treatment while Brazilians and Indians didnt.
I don't like to repeat this again and again. However, I think, at this time, China is on the verge of diplomacy. Russia is a closed ally to China and they both need each other to counter pressure from the West. China usually don't take side in international conflict but the Ukraine-Russia war is forcing China to take side. The west, from Scomo (as early as I could read), the US and now Ukraine herself is trying to pull China from being sided with Russia.

Any small mistake here could be vital. Even if China doesn't say anything, Putin would think in his mind "you are betraying me". Yeah, something like that. So, my advice to China is to think twice before saying anything.

These are generally fluff reasons used by a losing side. You can easily apply these the other way around, to justify ISIS, and to any conflict going on.

I am seeing tweets on the subject, but not actual videos yet. There is some sort of operation going on now in Kharkov. The reports are coming in of VDV troops making a really big push into the city. I doubt this is a yolo this time. Given the heavy artillery fire before and the attacks on the 92nd outside the city later in the day, this might be the big attempt again.

Will this be the Nth time is the charm?
