Just look at the map, Russia speedy response with Kazakhstan within the CSTO must have made them think twice make any moves in the stans. Look at their western flank you have a developing pakistan and their north eastern flank is China. India is contained at least on land.

More winding down of western coverage of the Ukraine conflict. The BBC are now using quotation marks for the "Russian saboteurs" the civilians who have been shooting down in the streets of Kiev. Yesterday both the UK government and the BBC was repeating Ukrainian propaganda ad verboten.
