Which really shows how much these people respect Russian Air force and intelligence right now. None at all.

And if they did that then the RuAF would be having short yet meaningful encounters with Messrs F22 and F35 very soon. Once say half a squadron of F22s has established complete and total air dominance over Ukraine, the long jams of Russian traffic should be easy meat for A10/AH64/B52.

Agreed. With the "nuclear" economic war started, Russia has nothing left more to lose on basically annexing the whole Ukraine if it wanted to do do. The only disadvantage would be insurgency but that's up to the Russians to calculate if its on their benefit.

People have still not realised what has happened now. Russia now has the ability to attack, invade, annex, split countries, fund and arm separatists, cut off trade etc

The only one which can moderate Russia now is China. Expect a lot more country leaders to be calling Xi from now on.

One of the tactical advantages of, both Su-25, and MiG-29 is their ability to operas from unprepared airstrips. You should know your own weapons systems, Russkie!

It's completely possible Putin just really subscribes to the triple russians theory that Belarusians and Ukrainians are brothers to Russians.

In such a scenario he saw 2 choices:
allow Ukraine to fall to the west and fall out of russian orbit for the next hundred years, or even derussify so much they become a completely foreign people,

or make an all out move to force it back, at the expense of the russian economy for the next 30 years. That will secure his position in russian history books for centuries to come.

If they want to get Ukraine they need to finish it soon, more and more country are sending weapons right now, the mess will just grow with time passing. They need to get ground fast.
