Whats new (to me) is the Office of the Ukrainian president confirming that they're meeting on the Belarus border somewhere. Previously it was all "no talk unless they pull troops out", or just no info at all.
Still, diplomacy is good. Although, could also be a ploy for more time if Zelenskyy thinks Ukraine is winning the PR war and actually pushing the western bloc into more forceful interventions.
Hope that isn't the case, since it'll continue the suffering of ordinary Ukrainians. (And note, this is how you actually care about ordinary citizens! By not using them as pawns and/or cannon fodder, goddamn)
Previously they didn't want to meet in Belarus because Russian troops were staged in Belarus as part of the attack, but obviously things changed. I wonder how much things will change more now that Belarus is (probably) going to commit troops into the attack.
Or, this could be a play to delay the Belorussian advance. Who knows?
Hope the talks go well.
