Go on r/China, r/HongKong, r/politics and practice what you preach and see how far your moralizing takes you. Better yet, how about you discuss your support for the CPC publicly with your western folks and see how that process works out for you. If you succeed, I'll sign up to take your class or something.
forgot to mention, I did mention my positive views about the current CCP, Xi, and current China's role in the world to some American friends and strangers as well. Most of the time I can make it to where they know I am not brainwashed. Often I can convince them that the CCP has done a few good things for China. But no one has leaped from 'CCP did good things' to 'CCP is good.' I think the reason is that Americans (and west in general) are deeply ideological and believe that democracy, political freedom, and political human rights are more important than anything else. I just don't see any Americans in my own life would accept trading some political stuff for stability and livelihood, commonly accepted in China, would ever make sense. That's why there might be less than 100 Americans that actually appreciates the CCP being a meritocratic, effective, and moderate force in China. We are talking about Chas Freeman, Lyle Goldstein, Ray Dalio level that knows what they are talking about. If you look at common prosperity, American think tankers, investment bankers, and academics just really don't get it. they actually think it's Mao's communism coming back. It's mind boggling.
