@xypher Agree bro, The Russian had decided and the initial suffering will be devastating BUT like the end result of Crimea annexation , Russia had become stronger thereafter, you can't block out the largest commodity producer out of the Market, within a month, Europe will dial back those sanction BUT will the Russian reciprocate, replacing Europe with China as their main customer?
If Europe proceeds with the sanctions, there will be no incentive to turn back because they will have to go in overdrive mode to make new deals and new contracts, build new LNG facilities and increase investments into renewables. And if they do, then they are going to have a stronger hand on the negotiating table.

The average wage in dollars (which affects the ability to buy cars, electronics, etc., basically everything that Russia imports or is built by foreign companies) in 2021 was lower than in 2014. If you are talking about economy, then it did not make Russia stronger.

Based on the cost of labor, regulations, political bickering and their lack of efficiency, how long would that take? We aren't talking about China here.

Germany can afford electricity prices when Russia shut down its factories?. Russia can produce things without Germany but Germany cannot produce things without Russia.

I am pretty sure that when there is a frying pan under their asses, these politicians and industry leaders will move quickly because otherwise not only do they lose their precious money but also risk facing riots. It is not like BBB or other bullshit where no one really wants it and it exists solely to virtue signal & placate Sleepy Joe (if he still remembers that, lmao).

A temporary hit to the EU's economy through spiking energy prices is going to be harsh but it is not going to last forever. Russia cannot manufacture many things.

Why are you ignoring my question though - do you live in Russia, are you there right now?
