@Bellum_Romanum bro most of his analysis conclusion regarding China are bonkers, heard him from The Duran , I cringe every time he speak , clearly he is not an expert cause the Chinese girl he is courting rejected him. ;)
His commentaries maybe dumb and stupid when it comes to China but that however should not dismiss the points I have been trying to make along with the retired military officers comment that I addendum as a reply on the video.

Joint Statement on further restrictive economic measures

First, we commit to ensuring that selected Russian banks are removed from the SWIFT messaging system. This will ensure that these banks are disconnected from the international financial system and harm their ability to operate globally.

Second, we commit to imposing restrictive measures that will prevent the Russian Central Bank from deploying its international reserves in ways that undermine the impact of our sanctions.

Third, we commit to acting against the people and entities who facilitate the war in Ukraine and the harmful activities of the Russian government. Specifically, we commit to taking measures to limit the sale of citizenship—so called golden passports—that let wealthy Russians connected to the Russian government become citizens of our countries and gain access to our financial systems.

Fourth, we commit to launching this coming week a transatlantic task force that will ensure the effective implementation of our financial sanctions by identifying and freezing the assets of sanctioned individuals and companies that exist within our jurisdictions. As a part of this effort we are committed to employing sanctions and other financial and enforcement measures on additional Russian officials and elites close to the Russian government, as well as their families, and their enablers to identify and freeze the assets they hold in our jurisdictions. We will also engage other governments and work to detect and disrupt the movement of ill-gotten gains, and to deny these individuals the ability to hide their assets in jurisdictions across the world.

Finally, we will step up our coordination against disinformation and other forms of hybrid warfare.

IMO, Russia will take Ukraine east of Dnipro river. Dnipro river cuts Kiev into two halves, a western half and a eastern half. Putin will likely install former Ukraine president Yanukovich as president of Russia backed East Ukraine which is east of Dnipro river.
Most of the military are East of the river. What they are doing is to take strategic towns until they encircle the military, force a surrender from most units, install their own commanders. Now, with these units, they will have a multiplying effect and force the other units to surrender. After this they will move to the West of the river and take out the entire country. There will be no East/West divide when they finish.

Which benefits no one except the US as the cycle simply continues.

The point he made was to give the greenbacks back to the Americans so that when the US needs to buy stuff from somewhere they'd be at the mercy of the vendor whether they accept USD or not.

Maybe I'm too dumb to understand the logic. It seems to me sellers always has the choice of accepting USD or not regardless of whether China send her USD back to US, it makes no difference.

Vendors are willing to accept USD simply because they have faith in it as a stable currency.

China buying US goods with USD will only reinforce that confidence, however if China spends all that USD to buy Non US goods it will cause USD to flood every nation's currency reserve, effectively devaluing the USD. Now this will impact confidence in USD, if China really wants to stick it to the US then China will follow by refusing USD payment for Chinese goods. This is game over for USD, and I believe nuclear war will follow soon after....

Anyway, I will not continue on this topic as it is quite OT, my fault to get baited in it....
