What "toys" did Ukraine steal from Russia to justify invasion?
"Growing up together as siblings"...Soviet Union colonized Ukraine, doesn't seem like family relations to me. More like Dominatrix relations.
The irony is that Russia's invasion of Ukraine actually validates Ukraine's security concerns and desire to join NATO for protection.
In local time? I seriously doubt that.
Russia still has not established air supremacy over Kiev, sieging a city with no aerial support and in a day, crazy.

This will change the game, not only for this conflict but also for future. I think once it goes into effect and Russia is totally cut off from the world financial system, world commerce, the reaction will not be anything we've seen before.

So, for 30 years they left the Russian security concerns unanswered, and did EXACLTY that the russians said will cross they red line.
In the past 16 years they sanctioned Russia again and again on the drop of hat.
Now, after this strategy lead to a mayor war in Europe, they continue to do the same thing.
Nothing like " oh ,yes, what security gurantee you need to stop this" or, ok, we willing to scrap the onshore aegis".
No, repeating the same failed strategy.
And they still think that Russia needs the euros for the energy that exported to the EU. Why?
That strategy already lead to the energy price explosion in the EU.

Lot of pages to go through since last night. Still I have no idea what's going on because both sides if they were losing would lie. The only thing I can go by is how the West is reporting on what's going on because if the Ukrainians were having all these victories, the US would gleefully report it. All I see is the standard romanticizing of US/Western and Ukrainian resolve which says nothing. Love how some think the EU is now on the side of the US. Since when were they not? If they would still follow anti-EU Trump, what is the breaking point where they would abandon the US? How about this threat to immediately make Ukraine a member of NATO. All so to get NATO countries to directly send their armies to attack Russia. They don't need to make Ukraine a member of NATO to do that. Why not just start militarily attacking China while they're at it? They already think the Chinese are evil. They need no excuses. The fact is what's holding them back from doing any of these things is the fear of losing what they have. So I don't know where this belief China needs to be scared of a US-EU gang-up comes from. Europe still needs money and natural resources from others. Even the US is vulnerable because American culture is of greed and greedy people are not by nature content with what they just have. So unless they want to return to where the world sees them as the monster rampaging the countryside, they should remember the countryside has nukes now.
