And what is your definition of time? 5 generations? Because your own number been going straight fucking down since the 1980s and it has never recovered from the 2008 recession. Not to mention. It started to flatline in Q4 2018 or roughly 15 months before the pandemic.

We are in a global game of chicken right now.
With blocking swift, now countries outside of EU, US, RUS are also affected.
Reminder that we are in a high inflation time and Russia is a huge grain exporter. Also reminder that Arab Spring was caused by high grain cost. Now if countries like MENA can't import grain from Russia, it'll be a huge disaster.
If only BRI/China can help this thing.
Now who will blink first?

You're right for now, but what if Russia's economy sink to Iran level with an increasingly dissatisfied population? It is not unimaginable some sort of color revolution might occur. I can imagine there is a long queue of traitors waiting to be the next Western backed puppets, Putin is able to control it for now but for how long?

You can't compare Russia to China, CPC has strong internal institution and cohesion and largely patriotic population, Russia has ......Putin
