Yes only the West is arrogant enough to expect help against what they see as threat to world peace from a country they've been making out to be the threat to world peace. And they wonder why China doesn't do what they want... They get upset that China doesn't call what Putin is doing an invasion. They get angry because before the invasion China didn't call to evacuate their embassy in Ukraine while Western countries did. And yet they think it's nothing that they've been working to continuously undermine China for over a century without a break. First they did for power and control for themselves and then literally overnight on the turn of a dime they did it for human rights and democracy. And I'll bet they're offended that China finds them untrustworthy.
>In the recent private talks on Ukraine, U.S. officials heard language from their Chinese counterparts that was consistent with harder lines the Chinese had been voicing in public, which showed that a more hostile attitude had become entrenched, according to the American accounts.

Literally: *beats the shit out of and threatens to kill and dismember someone*
"why are you so hostile towards me??:eek::eek:"

Reading the hypocrisy, gaslighting and disingenuous propaganda in Western MSM is one of the finest forms of psychological torture.

After the war?

We're on day 2. Let's see if Ukrainians are as ferocious in defending Kiev as the propaganda says. If not, the NATO promise is pointless: the war will be over in a week or two. if they are, this war could go on a long time and become a quagmire: NATO could become an untouchable source of supply.

It all hinges on what Ukrainians do, not what the West does.
