Ukranians dont understand or appreciate how lucky they are that Putin has used a gentle hand.
Had a fully unrestrained Russian army been there, it would use its artillery to obliterate everything on front, grid by grid, before troops moved in and quickly eliminated the area of any slipped fish. By the time the army had moved out of a grid, the area would look like a rumble from a long lost civilization. Civilians or enemy combatants, it wouldnt matter. You are on front of the army, you automatically forfeited the right to live
Thats the guaranteed way to have military success on the battlefield. They should thank their lucky stars that Putin is showing some compassion to them
