Exactly, it is desperation on Putin's part.Agreed. Russia attacking Ukraine signals a strategic failure on its part.
Powerful nations (e.g. China) don't need to use military power because they have other far more useful ways to influence the international environment.
Lol I was waiting for you to show up@Mohsin77, Hi buddy! Didn't make it a couple of weeks; didn't even make it a couple of days. You were saying something about Chicago?
I am in a Telegram chat with trustworthy people from Ukraine, there are definitely strikes on cities. It does not mean that they are deliberate but it is what it is. There are also people from Crimea in that chat, they saw Iskanders moving towards the Ukrainian border yesterday.Right now we have no direct evidence for Russian strikes on main cities. It all seems to be targeted attacks on the Army and military formations and bases.
It would be hard to find any reliable information apart from some witness reports here and there which also should be taken with a grain of salt unless you know the people. There's tons of misinformation from both sides right now.Anyone knows some good resources to follow (Twitter, YouTube) to get info on how much progress Russian forces have made in advancing into Ukraine?
Most of the Twitter is cluttered with some missile strikes here and there, which doesnt provide much insight on where Russian troops are now
Did he really just ask Russia to be removed from the Security Council? In a spontaneous exchange not often seen in the council chamber, Mr Kyslytsya told Mr Nebenzia to "relinquish your duties as chair".
