I would not mind if war started in ukraine. It is just the distraction the world needs for China to bide its time, not to mention it would mean Russia is finally pushing back against decades of nato expansionism.

The other thing is that by this point war is essentially inevitable regardless of where the starting point is, because the underlying issues of US elites demanding global ideological and economic hegemony against any and all dissention along with said ideological conceits will effectively ensure that.

Told you guys. If the US won't agree to Russia's demands then Russia will go to war.

Let's go

...?

Did you read the article? The "military response" he is threatening is withdrawing from the INF Treaty, and he also doesn't seem to be encouraging the view that Russia is about to invade Ukraine:

“There will be confrontation,” he added, warning that Moscow would deploy weapons that were previously banned under the INF Treaty, which expired in 2019.

“Currently, [these banned weapons] do not exist; we have a unilateral moratorium. We call on NATO and the United States to join this moratorium,” Ryabkov said, lamenting that “they just don’t respond to our proposals.”
....
Elsewhere in Monday’s interview, Ryabkov derided the United States’ “inexplicable fixation” on the threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine.

“This isn’t so and cannot be,” he said.

Russia can deploy INF weapons to Venezulea and Cuba.

Would be interesting to see the USA support for the independent decision of those countries.

Nord stream won't be operational before 2nd half of 2022
It is Germany acting in way to confuse otheres.. They made public statement of certification at some random future date so that Gas prices immediately jump high in spot markets. but no one is preventing them from using so called test gas and that is the second line.
Germanic policies have put Europe in such dire situation that if current input prices continue untill next winter. there will be complete dominance of Asia. Its Germany interest that whole attention is paid to Nato-Russia but no one point finger to them.

The desperation is such level that BMW X7 is assemble at same place as Kia/Hyundai. Where is the protection of brand image?

I dont see that happening in a million years. Btw a legal treaty requires a US Senate super majority (lol)

So all that remains is when the war will start
Don't know about the war, but I agree that this treaty will take a long long time to happen if it happens at all. For starter, the definition of "core interests of Russia" will be argued by US forever like in this thread. :D

i wonder if europe can really wait until the next winter. current storage is already depleted with gas price still quite high, and europe's inflation is at record levels like everywhere else. interestingly enough EU economy is also staring at a potential slowdown. So if energy price is not relieved by additional supply through nord stream 2, coupled with upcoming rate raises, EU could enter stagflation by next year.

It is more impotrant for the EU politburo to keep up with the 5 year plan of decaronisation than to keep the homes warm and the light on.

The USA will ratificate the treatry when they have no other choices.

By the same way as a country will go on war if they has no other choices.

Just definition, the USA doing colonization in the past 50 years, not war : )
