Russia's true colors are revealed. And NATO will grow stronger. Defense is being taken seriously again, it hasn't been for the past 20 years. And NATO will grow.

I think that's a pity. I would have preferred to see all of the money and effort used to fight the climate crisis.

But it is what it is, we have to go through it now.

That may be, but I am pretty convinced there were crimes committed in Bucha. Maybe not all of what the Ukrainians have said - some do look like artillery kills instead and others may be Russian collaborators who were shot - but even so.

There are no saints here. War is hell.
The absence of saints does NOT mean that we should be incapable of making comparative judgments.

When Germany invaded Poland in 1939, the retreating Poles massacred hundreds of ethnic German civilians.
That was a war crime, but it pales in comparison with the much greater German war crimes against the Poles.

I doubt that Russia (the invader) and Ukraine (the invaded) are equally guilty of war crimes.

I think it'll be the end of NATO. Hungary has already effectively pulled out. The next election that comes people will just vote out warmongering politicians and vote for someone who wants trade with Russia instead of helping Ukrainians.

This is wired

So Russia wants to pay bond payment but western banks refuse to take it, I guess they want to force Russia to default the debt.

It's like someone wants to repay a debt to bank, but the bank just want to destroy this person's credit. So they reject payment from this person and claim he has no credit anymore.

The excuse would have been China, anyway. After all, NATO is only an extension of the US's State and Defense Department and if it ever was about security concerns, they should have accepted Russia when they had the chance.

Don't care. I have already stated my position multiple times: any war crimes, whomever committed them, should be prosecuted. I don't care if they are by Ukrainians, Russians, Americans or God's own angels. All who commit them should be tried.

If you think I am pro Russian or would excuse anything by them in this conflict, you might want to read through my history.

NATO’s and the USA true colors are revealed, that is why most of the world (none western that is) refuses to help the EU and the USA in regards to the supply and gas problems because this is something that everyone but the talking heads in Brussels can easily see not to mention the amount of lies that come out on a daily basis i along with just how evil the neo Nazis are. It is a pity that all this could be prevented if the USA didn’t do what they did in 2014, now we must suffer the consequences and witness the end of the USA dollar and the downfall of a greedy super power as a result

You apparently have jumped to the conclusion that my general comments were meant as a personal criticism of you.
If so, that conclusion is incorrect.

Given the chaos of war, however, it seems likely that only a small minority of the real war criminals will ever face a trial.
