Better explanation than “they simply accepted their fate”; you seem to forget that they are fighting in an active war and these aren’t battle hardened troops that have had to live through the constant realities of war nor do they have discipline of a professional fighting force.

Either way you look at it they were still obliterated by artillery; and this seems to be a common occurrence by Russian armored columns since the beginning of the conflict.

What would your explanation be then since your such an expert on the matter?
I never said I was an expert I just voiced skepticism towards that explanation. We can both have different opinions so don't get so easily offended. If you feel your version is correct and cannot accept other opinions that's fine. What's your expertise? Please enlighten us.

My opinion is that this was a video filmed during target practice and now used for propaganda. We have seen a lot of videos of past footage used for PR. But I could be wrong. Is it possible you could be wrong?

(Russian ones are 20% right now). But US also had an unemployment spike while Russia doesn't.

So no the situation is indeed broadly comparable. Unlike US in Vietnam though Russia is likely to escalate rather than back down.
Where in the world would have been better at that time? Stagflation was a global phenomenon. A country under sanction is tremendously under more strain than a country that is a hegemonic economic power.

All 10 to 13 armour unites frozen in fear? No movement at all, and the video is an edited version. If that's the case, then props to Russia for not collapsing already and keeping Ukraine from invading the border.
I just checked out the video that caused this ruckus. From the looks of it, I’d say the cause is mostly bad terrain. According to @anzha , it can get extremely muddy in Ukraine, so armored vehicles can easily get stuck. We have seen numerous pics of Russian tanks and apc’s getting abandoned since they were stuck in the mud. I guess the tankers couldn’t get out of the mud and that caused them to become sitting ducks for the Ukrainians. My bad for jumping the gun, but my point still stands in general nonetheless.

Ok that's reasonable.
Although I would have thought that if they were stuck and tried to get away, we would see smoke exhaust coming out the back or see soldiers running away, but I see what you mean, that's certainly a possiblity.

Rough estimate of the number of Russian diplomats that have been since been expelled from Europe since the onset of the conflict; somewhere around [310]; many of which have been declared by their host countries as “intelligence officers”.

More than triple the amount of expulsions from the UK in 1971 and more than double that from the direct fallout of the Skripal conspiracy.

The whole video is only about a minute. It's not a huge amount of time to react. It probably takes 30 seconds just to realize and process what is going on. Remember these guys are not watching a drone video of themselves like we are. They are sitting inside a safe-feeling hunk of metal and maybe are hearing the dull sounds of explosions outside, but that could be anything. It could be an infantry ambush in which case running out of your vehicle is a good way to get bullets into your chest. Then you may be trying to make contact with your commander, waiting for orders, etc.

Either way, there would be a strong human instinct not to exit a heavily armored vehicle and expose yourself to the cold freezing temperatures with no armor. It feels safer inside.

Remember: These people literally stayed in a sinking ship for an hour due to not receiving explicit orders to do otherwise-
