My guess is that it's been rendered useless by Ukrainian anti-aircraft defenses, which are undoubtedly arriving from the West in spades. I've noticed the Russian losses of tanks and troops have dropped since the first week of the invasion when they were going Leroy Jenkins, but their aircraft losses are pretty steady.
Still pretty shocking that they cannot call on it or are unwilling to risk it when faced with a close barrage that threatens to overwhelm them.

If we exclude the 15 helicopters destroyed on the Kherson runway, their rate of losses (from Oryx) in the last two weeks has been noticeably less compared to those before. Particularly in fixed-wing aircraft.

A good analysis on Russian AirPower application in Ukraine:

Not sure how close air can help with an enemy artillery barrage, the fastest response is from their own arty, next fastest is from air support if enemy arty location is known.

If it is true the russian suffered artillery barrage I'm guessing it's from Ukr MLRS, which makes any response moot

But that will hurt western bond buyers right, the money is there to pay off the debts.
Really sounds like a PR victory but a lot of westerners will not get their money or incomeo_O

The Russians are willing to pay but can't get their money moved, so it seems more like the US is defaulting by not keeping their end of the bargain of giving back the Russians their money.

Don't think this will keep other nations from investing in Russia via alternative ways, a second set of financial markets.

Not having had time yet to read the last 10 pages but - re those satellite images from NYT supposedly three weeks ago.
If they had such images why not go public with them then. Plus Bucha was simply one town out of many dozen, which were within thousands of square miles of Russian occupies territory. Where are the satellite images for these towns and why wait so long.
Evidence of this sort presented after the event is weak evidence .
Can date stamps be adulterated and changed? I have no idea but I would guess any data can ultimately be manipulated if you control the source code. It may be complex and even costly to do, but the stakes are clearly high enough to make it plausible if it is possible.

@Lapin stop derailing the thread. This forum isn’t your personal rambling platform. You might be a honest & nice person but this is war & bad things happen & war crime is being commited by both sides. We don’t need your 100 page essay on why Russia is wrong in invading another soverign nation. We all know it.
If you can post videos, news , update on current conflict with your commentry then its awesome. But seriously stop writing long essay on whether its moral or not.

And there is something to be said about americans trying to moralize others about illegal wars, war crimes and accountability when they haven't even bothered to do something as basic as rescinding the medals given to those responsible for multiples atrocities since the 1950's.

They probably were aware it was done by the ukranians shelling from Kiev and couldn't really find a way to pin them on the Russians

Wouldnt every other great space power be able to prove if its was fake?

For example, Russian satellites surely have satellite photos of that area. If Russians believe it is fake, they can just release a photo of the same place and time from their own satellites
