Maybe the PLAAF will realize how dumb it is to use rocket pods on aircrafts
The need of rockets / 30mm machines come into play when enemy is splintered into small groups. A chopper or CAS aircraft can carry several hundred rockets rather than few PGMs. they do multiple low altitude passes by stationing much nearer to battlefield.
it need much stronger airframe like Su-25 that fly considerable distance even hit by manpad.
Russia perfected this in Syrian desert. i doubt Pilots train on J-10 or Flanker will like to be in this situation. they fly high and wide from the target and use standoff weopons.

There were also multiple reports coming out of the Izium front today that the Russians had reached Brazhkivka, about 5 miles away from their last known positions in Sukha Kamyanka. So there is still some mobility in the eastern front and the Russians are moving here and there, albeit slowly. Also, LPR forces have practically captured the strategic town of Popasna, which will allow them to advance faster on that front from here on out. No trench warfare just yet!

They shouldn't rush things. They have to be very careful about ambushes and they must defend their rear and flanks and also not move far ahead of supplies.
