Then I retract that claim, had not seen the earlier video. And I haven't verified that the video in question shows Irpin exactly either, but it makes total sense because the Ukrainians also blew up a dam in the Kiev Reservoir that flooded some of the area northwest of Kiev.

Nevertheless, the part about the Ukrainians repelling the major recent Russian assaults in the Donbas is still true.
Not trying to give you a hard time btw. I just happened to see the same video that's all.

Can you provide some sources for the Ukrainians repelling the Russians at Donbas?

Donbass had 3 fronts: Donetsk South (Mariupol), Donetsk West (Kramatorsk) and Lugansk North (Severodonetsk). Clearly Mariupol is not the front that's been repelled. So which exact fronts are they talking about?

No major Russian assaults in the last few days, let alone Ukraine repelling anything. They are mainly sticking to hitting Uk positions with artillery and guided missiles. They withdrew from Kiev and are mopping up Mariupol for now.

Still no sign of mass bombardment of Uk positions from the air though. It seems Putin is more interesting in this being a geopolitical war rather than a military conflict. All the while Russian POWs are being returned castrated & kneecapped, ethnic Russians are being tortured and killed in Ukrainian cities. Not a fan of his strategy personally.

if the strategy is to displace Ukrainians and cause a refugee crisis then hitting hard at their infrastructure is the only way to go.

I don't know what to believe anymore. But I found lots of inconsistencies on MSM and twitter.

I thought the US intelligence said Russian was planning a push on donbass in 1-2 weeks, did the Russians start early?

The fog of war seems to have gotten thicker and more dense from all the propaganda both sides are putting out. Everything seems to be possible at this point.

Well you can just get them to leave through humanitarian corridors. Most of Ukraine is still untouched, especially the western part. Its unfeasible to destroy civilian infrastructure with missiles only.
