the question is how capable Belarussian Army would be ? and whether they are able to do as good or even better as Russian army. They dont seem to really have the numbers.

An equally important point is what is available to ukraine to oppose them, and given proximity of the likely area of confrontation to NATO territory abs air space, what wildcard are there with regard to NATO’s ability to aid Ukrainians directly or indirectly. I imagine NATO aircraft flying in NATO airspace can provide very detailed real time information on any troop movement for a considerable distance into ukrainian and Belorussian territory using airborne side scanning radar.

From what I've heard from Russians not very good. About the same as the Ukrainians.

They'll be better than Arabic or African soldiers as they are used to the weather and terrain and can speak Russian. They will be useful in controlling the population and POW later if needed I'd imagine.

I don't see any reason for Russians to deploy more soldiers, the numbers they have on the ground are enough. What they seem to lack is air support, or they are unwilling to use it.

A rare update from the Russian side in Mariupol:
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
70% has been cleared, and the Ukrainians have withdrawn to two districts.
The Azov also put out a view from a different commander. I guess the previous one is "busy"? Didn't say much other than we are winning, please help us, etc.

It also interesting to note this is the highest intensity combat so far in this war yet Ukrainian claims for kills are increasing the least, some days they are even going down!
Here's their map of the current situation in Mariupol.

I think we should stop dogpiling on Deino. In my heart I support Russia removing a fascist regime, but it is good Deino is telling us to calm and restrain ourselves. Keep your head cool and analyse the situation as neutral as you can. That is the best way we can get to the truth.

I echo that. The top reason I hang out here more often is that I think this forum is more tolerant and accommodating than other forums on China's Military. And Deino is a main contributor to this forum and is professional as well as civil.
