The look on FoxBusiness host's face when Colonel Macgregor called Zelensky a puppet putting huge numbers of his population at risk:

The guy is certainly over the top in his media appearances. I am yet to find any criticism on his side of Russia's performance in the war, other than being too gentle on Ukraine and not using its full capability. Kind of in agreement with some people on this forum, no?

Yet, he has produced influential ideas for the modernization of US armed forces. One of his books is recommended reading for high-level officers in Israeli Defense Forces.

He gained quite a bit of notoriety for his Islamophobic outbursts and calls for martial law on the US-Mexican border. Also, some badly worded critiques of German war crime repentance:
"There's sort of a sick mentality that says that generations after generations must atone sins of what happened in 13 years of German history and ignore the other 1,500 years of Germany. And Germany played a critical role in central Europe in terms of defending the serving Western civilization. So I think that's, that's the problem,"

When did the US attack Russia? Or right, they didn't. But you're mad that Putin isn't allowed to attack anybody he wants without consequences?
By this logic if someone were to point a gun at you, you would have no right to defend yourself until after they pulled the trigger and you were dead. The fact that NATO hasn't used force does not mean they don't intend to use force when all of their actions are moving towards situations where if they did use force then they would be able to decapitate Russia's ability to defend itself and its people. Russia has a gun pointed at it and they decided to initiate measures to ensure the survival of the Russian people.

US car companies left Russia a long time ago. There are few economic interactions between the US and Russia. Russia is, however, highly dependent on European industry in terms of machine tools and other things like that. But then again the most relevant part of Russian industry for war effort is still mostly stuck with Soviet era gear. Do you think Kalashnikov is using European tools to make machine guns? Or bullets? I heard a US general claim on TV just the other day the Russians would run out of bullets. Effin idiots. Probably more Soviet era ammo spoiling than they use in this conflict.

It's no secret NATO's been shipping their expired stock to Ukraine. Now we know what it does when that piece of weaponry is past its expiry date.

The thing is they are hoping for a Afghan type insurgency. Problem is Ukraine is not a poor/undeveloped country its citizens have something to loose, The terrain is also different (Flat) outside of cities there aren't many places to hide and the entry points into Ukraine via EU can be policed by Russian. Russia has a experienced paramilitary in putting down revolts. And of course Ukraine/Russians aren't unfamiliar to each others language/culture/religion.

But the biggest thing is if Azov and other Nazi's " battalions" behave like they behaved in Mariupol and other places. Use civilians as shields and even executing them. Forget about any effective insurgency. That and probably even now there are a lot more people in Ukraine that would welcome Russians in a heartbeat but are to afraid in the moment to speak out. Russian troops talking with civilians in occupied/liberated areas indicated as such.
The terrain at Western Ukraine (which is forest) is suitable for Partisan and guerilla fighting, it was even used by the Soviet Partisans against Germany back in World War 2.
Most democratic country in the West
"⚡Ukraine's RNBO suspends activities of pro- political parties for the time of the war, Zelenskyy informs:

Opposition Platform-For Life
Shariy's Party
Nashi
Opposition Bloc
Socialist Party
Left Opposition
Union of Left Forces
Derzhava & others"
Actually, it does quite makes sense in my opinion, to prevent possible spies and saboteurs that might give the Russians intelligence and AFU military movement.

However from the start Russia should have used their full strength. From the start they should have bombed Ukraine for at least two weeks before sending ground troops in. That way they destroy Ukrainian aerial assets, airbases, military bases, air defense systems etc.

What you are proposing is essentially the complete firebombing of Ukraine, destroying it's industrial capacity comparable to Iraq shock and awe which has the possibility of further alienating the major populace and decrease the chance of making a collaborationist government within the country which what Russia trying to achieve and the fact that those indiscriminate bombing would further use by the Western Media to twist the narrative being Russian committing genocide on Ukrainians? Completely unrealistic imho

Bro, if they sent their Western Equipment it would take Ukrainians weeks or even months to operate such machinery because of the disparity between Soviet/Russian equipment to Western equipment, so the most effective method is to use their old Warsaw Pact stock in their storage, they don't have time to check those equipment anymore cause of Ukrainian desperation.
