@BlackWindMnt bro the Chinese maybe looking and may adapt some of the Russian Tactic, Like I said why destroy something you owned, the Chinese may use Special forces instead to knockout key political personality rather than an outright invasion and may employed fifth column within the Taiwan security forces. Those missile will be used to enforce a blockade and a no fly zone will be implemented.Im not even sure people know or if there even is a defined definition of what a rapid victory would be for a Russia vs Ukraine war.
I heard everything from 6 to 12 weeks would be rapid in modern warfare terms.
Its all about vibez and feelz in the west reality and facts don't matter anymore just print more euros and hope it keeps on going well.
China like Russia in the Ukraine conflict had Escalatory Dominance and the Taiwanese had no illusion about the seriousness of their situation. That is why they want to intensify the conflict NOW! cause as the years go by that situation will be uncontrollable as the Chinese strength grew more and more potent.
And one more thing, occupying Ukraine the Russian may employed local militia and doesn't need large amount of Army personnel, the idea of another Afghanistan is far fetch. As @SampanViking posted they are kinship only the Western region bordering Poland are not. My thinking as the Russian Denazify the eastern part and No peace agreement were agreed, they will pummeled Lviv and create a huge refugee crisis for EU to handle and in essence completing the mission of Denazification of the Whole Ukraine.
