Fukuyama needs a good needling. History itself has given a very strong rebuttal. For better or worse.

There is going to be so much death if there is an invasion. The artillery barrages by the Russians are something stupendous. We saw a hint of it at the battles leading up and then in the elimination of the Debaltseve pocket. This will be a scale far and beyond that. When Napoleon came for some tea in Moscow, Russia listened and took to heart his advice: with artillery, war is made.

I find it amazing how much OSINT like on the ground videos we have of the troop deployments and geolocated by amateurs. I suppose it wasn't really possible to hide a large force build up with tanks parked next to the highway, but I am really surprised how the Russian troops don't even make an attempt to hide their movements.
