Russia does not need to invade anything. They can obliterate the supply lines of the Ukrainian army with MRLS if they want. They don't even need to use Iskander.
If I remember correctly, during the early stages of the conflict, most of AFV losses of the Ukranian Army happened due to artillery strikes.

Separatist forces would blanket entire staging áreas with MLRS and howitzer fire.

I find it amazing how much OSINT like on the ground videos we have of the troop deployments and geolocated by amateurs. I suppose it wasn't really possible to hide a large force build up with tanks parked next to the highway, but I am really surprised how the Russian troops don't even make an attempt to hide their movements.

You cant hide troop movements these days.

That's also a good lesson for some delusional Westerners that China will smh do a secret Taiwan invasion lol

At most, you can disguise them as major military exercises, but even then, intelligence would be able to pick up logistic movements and flag them
