OK, which ones? There are only 17 T80BVM;s listed so should be easy to point out which of the images are of the same tank. Here's the link:

Oryx already gives out his massive bias by this "Attack on Europe" thingie... The current conflict correct nomenclature is the 2022 Russo-Ukrainian war, not some quasi religious fight between "civilization" and the Asian hordes...

increasingly, I wonder what Putin's exit strategy is.
If he takes all of Ukraine, de-militarized the arm forces and only allow the pro-Russian side to be armed and in charge of the country, there will certainly still be rage, but over time, especially if he still has control of the media, people will go about their daily lives. The Russian arm forces, with all the heavy equipment, will still need to be there for quite some time. You will be amazed at how effective 10% of the population can control a country if the other 90% are not armed, even if 30% are still angry at you. Just look at how long South Africa lasted under Apartheid. This is especially true if the most capable troops in East Ukraine are destroyed and most of the able bodied young people move out of the country to Poland and elsewhere. It removes a big part of the ant-Russian elements.

Don't get me wrong, this is not going to be cakewalk for Russia, but I think they have a good shot.

Xi Yazhou did an episode talking about this too:

Basically the example BTGs we saw in action in Syria and Donbass around 2014 were adhoc formations themselves built out of the most elite units of an combined arms army (their infantry units were often VDV or naval infantry for example) and given much higher level of C3I gear than normal for Russia. By Xi's estimate Russia can only put together no more than 10 BTGs to this standard.

The current scale of war has what? Equivalent of at least 30 BTGs in the fight (by some estimates by Ukraine prior to they war they are claiming 60-100 BTGs). That means if you want to have your 10 elite BTGs the rest would be trash tier. So Russia didn't do that and they reshuffled the decks and spread out all their technical assets back into their traditional larger formations. Once you dilute out all the elite units and equipment across a much larger force you will of course no longer be getting your 2014 standard elite BTGs.

That part about retiring many 2S1 self propelled artillery but not fielding replacements quickly enough (assuming he's referring to 2S34 gun mortar), leaving many BTGs understrength, only to use towed 122mm D-30s in the war to stopgap was pretty wtf if accurate. Just keep the 2S1s instead?

So the BTG concept falls apart in large scale operations because they can't field combined arms units properly. Idealized organization model shows UAV and EW companies that can augment the BTG but in practice that's controlled at regiment level.

Battle Order does a pretty good vid covering the organization and concept of BTGs for those who are interested:
