Statement from Zelensky today.:
My priorities in the negotiations are absolutely clear. End of the war, guarantees of security, sovereignty, restoration of territorial integrity, real guarantees for our country, real protection for our country.
The foreign ministry also said the same thing. So yeah, there's no chance of a peace deal any time soon.

Azov Battalion are having a total meltdown on twitter:
They are begging to be rescued, claiming Russians are going around killing pregnant women dressed as civilians. It can't be that bad as they've got time to tweet about it.

Russian sources are pretty silent on Mariupol, I imagine busy getting down to work.

Oryx is not impartial. He deliberately undercounts available data on Ukrainian vehicle losses and counts Russian vehicle losses shown from different angles as different vehicles lost. I stopped taking his numbers into consideration when he had less Ukrainian Su-25 losses total than the ones in a single video the Russian Army TV channel posted showing the damage to an Ukrainian airbase. When people pointed that out to him he said he had little evidence some of those aircraft were disabled. Yet he has no issue marking Russian vehicles the Ukrainians photograph as disabled regardless if they show damage or not.
Not to mention the fact that every other post he makes is a NATO troll post.

One thing I'm looking forward to is the Anglos going back to treating Turkey as the banana republic it is once this war is over.

Reading this article shows that the West really worry that China would lean to Russia. So far as I know China, they will likely stand-by Russia by mouth, no actual action will be taken. So, the West worries too much!

The West isn’t worried that China would support Russia over Ukraine in the article. They are scared shitless that the Russians will hitch their wagon onto China. Like the comment a German Naval Chief made before he got sacked over bad Indian comments. “Berlin needs Russia against China.” This article isn’t about Ukraine but about Russia and China relations becoming closer, which ultimately relates to Taiwan but that’s off topic.

Will China continue to try to reshape the current global economy in its image by participating in it? Or will China join Russia behind a new Iron Curtain of sanctions, cut off from the U.S. and Europe and left to navigate a new monetary system and trading framework?

“This is really a crucial moment and potentially a turning point,” says Bonnie Glaser, director of the Asia program at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. “They really are siding with the Russians. They are more closely aligned with the Russians than they’ve ever been.”

I live in French Canada. I can tell you the usual Québécois looks like Wali. Just look at Jose Théodore (Goalie), Maurice Richard (Hockey legend), Richard Séguin (singer)

View attachment 85314

The difference is all the guys you posted look clearly European. The Wali guy definitely looks Arab or at least part Arab (most likely half French half Arab). Sure, it's still possible he isn't, but doesn't change the fact that that is his phenotype.

Also he was nicknamed "Wali" because it means "protector" in Arabic. Another weird coincidence. He also stereotypically works as an IT programmer like many Middle Eastern immigrants to Canada.

I think the onus is on those that thinks he's ethnically French to prove it.

As for the relevance, it's always good to know that those who betrayed their own people get defeated in a humiliating fashion. Sort of like if some Taiwanese asshole got blown up abetting the haters of China but was said to be a Swede, lots of Chinese would like to know if this guy really was from Pineapple Country.

Ukraine has praised the courage of three European leaders who made a long, hazardous journey by rail from Poland to Kyiv in a show of support as the city came under further Russian attack.
The prime ministers of Poland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic met Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday evening as a curfew began in Kyiv.

How did it happen when Kyiv is surrounded?

Kiev isn’t surrounded. The Russians haven’t made any moves to surround it yet on the South side. Seems like it was an intentional decision to not continue. I also don’t know why those rails are still operating. How come Russia hasn’t blown up those rail lines yet.

Big misidentification not to mention I saw another picture of the same tank from a different angle claiming it was destroyed by nlaw. This suggests to me they are taking pictures of the same scene from different angles and passing each with different stories.
Did you point this out to him to correct, or are you just making stuff up? I suspect the latter.

Secret CIA Training Program Helped Ukraine Prepare for Russia Military Operation, Report Suggests

By Sputnik News - 17 March 2022

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - A secret training program in Ukraine run by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) helped Ukrainians prepare for Russia's special military operation in the country, Yahoo News reported on Wednesday.

The CIA training program began around 2014 when the conflict in the Donbass region started but the Biden administration pulled out all CIA personnel from Ukraine before the start of Russia's military operation in that country, the report said, citing former officials.

The covert CIA training program was run from Ukraine's eastern frontlines, possible through previously existing authorities for the agency that did not require a new legal determination, the report said. Only a small number of CIA paramilitary officers in the low single digits were sent to eastern Ukraine, the report added.

The CIA paramilitary officers taught Ukrainians sniper techniques, how to use Javelin anti-tank missiles, how to evade digital tracking the Russians used to locate Ukrainian troops, how to use covert communications tools, among other skills, according to the report.

On February 24, Russia began a special operation to demilitarize and de-Nazify Ukraine, responding to requests for assistance from the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics to defend against intensifying attacks by Ukrainian troops. The Russian Defense Ministry said the special operation is solely targeting Ukrainian military infrastructure and the civilian population is not in danger. Russia has repeatedly stressed that it has no plans to occupy Ukraine.

Kremlin strikes back at Biden calling Putin ‘war criminal’

US President Joe Biden has called his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin “a war criminal” over the conflict in Ukraine - the Kremlin calling the remarks “unacceptable and unforgivable.”

Biden’s inflammatory comment took place during a White House event Wednesday, as he was answering reporters' questions. After initially responding “no” as to whether he considered Putin a war criminal - moments later Biden clarified: “Oh I think he is a war criminal.”

Kremlin spox Dmitry Peskov told TASS that Moscow considers it “unacceptable and unforgivable such rhetoric from the head of state, whose bombs killed hundreds of thousands of people around the world.”
