RUSSIAN ATTACK ON

TRAINING CENTER

A cruel but underreported reality of the Ukrainian war has been the unpreparedness of the Western veterans and serving soldiers fighting in Ukraine

Soldier ‘Alex’ from the UK who served in Afghanistan arrives at the Polish-Ukrainian border.png

One Mercian Regiment veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, dubbed a “British Lion” by one tabloid, travelled to Ukraine to fight the Russian military, but is now back in Kidderminster after narrowly surviving one battle with Putin’s forces. He explained:

“Iraq and Afghanistan was totally different. The Russians are a conventional modern army…I’ve never experienced firepower like that, I don’t think anyone of this generation ever has.” - JASON HAIGH

ISAF troops’ experience of heavy explosives in Afghanistan was mostly confined to taking a fatal step on a booby-trap or when friendly forces in the air miscalculated their strafing runs.

This experience has left Britons and other Western veterans of the recent failed Middle Eastern campaigns [SYRIA !?] ill-equipped for war in Ukraine. Nothing in the Middle East campaigns compares to the overwhelming might of a conventional army replete with missiles, jets...

got obliterated literally cries as he flees the camp into safety. He says his friends are killed in the strike and someone is leaking information about the base.

"Here, the Yavoriv base has just been bombed, we're leaving".

LOL, at least he took one good decision.

There is enough anecdotal evidence to suggest the foreign legion took a massive hit. The dishonest Western media is totally mum about this. Sticking to the script that only Ukrainians were killed.

Yes, over 200 dead. One Brazilian confirmed, as well as, one mercenary that fled to Poland and made statement to Spanish TV.

We have spoken in @A3Noticias with a foreign recruit from Barcelona who has survived the Russian bombing of the Ukrainian military base in Yavoriv and who had been receiving military training for two weeks to fight in the war #UkraineWar

Quote: "... because with the conventional forces that he's had there, we haven't seen this kind of ineptness in a long, long time [...] Despite large advantages in manpower and weaponry, Russia's invasion of Ukraine has not progressed as quickly or as smoothly as many experts predicted [...] that Russia's performance in the war so far has gravely degraded Russia's military position in Europe - and above all its ability to compel with threats of force that fall under the nuclear threshold ..."

Dangerous assessment I think! The Russians don't miss quick success because they are so weak, but because the Ukrainians are so strong. A land war against another nation might have gone better.

... While it is tempting to imagine that higher than expected combat losses and greater than expected Ukrainian resistance may encourage a softening of Russia's position, it must be remembered that Russia can escalate so much further. Russia can move to a true war economy and put millions of men under arms, they can bring nuclear weapons to bear ...
The danger of nuclear war is seen because such a war can develop unexpectedly. Otherwise, my understanding of the West's strategy is that it is assumed that Putin would not survive a formal declaration of war because that leaves a lot of time to act.

USA used to have lot of freedom for mistakes and errors.

Now the USA is in the coffin corner, due to China, there is not so much error that can be made - but they haven't realised it yet.

And frankly, this talk about the weakness of the Russian or the strenght of the ukrainan is overblown.

There are 60-70000 West ukrainan military personel whom hasn't got too much choice, either die or stay for long time in prison due to warcrimes.

They figth like madman, check the Azov, what choices they have ? Bail out to the USA with the next plane ?

At some point, it's difficult to separate propaganda from reality, and the consequence can be calamitous.

American neo cons on the right truly believe America can take on Russia/China/Iran/North Korea, invade Venezuela along with Cuba while fighting Islamic terrorism in Africa and Mideast at the same time. These idiots don’t understand imperial over reach. Primacy doesn’t mean invincibility.

That spindokto guy's history is a gold mine:

You missed the best one

That was what a lot of people were saying, that they were pushing the legion up to Kviv as cannon fodder. And how can you argue that when guys are given no training, and AK with no butt stock, and one magazine? When guys were asking for more ammo a Ukrainian officer said "take it off dead russians"

Reenactment of the historically inaccurate western portray of Stalingrad 2.0
