The world under Trump is becoming more multipolar. They're openly signalling a 3 day SMO to take Canada, Panama and Greenland. Europe is left on its own vs Russia. The Syrian conflict is mostly over and Turkiye will prove to be very valuable to the EU in such a grim world.

The litmus test is going to be whether the French are going to block the rumored 300 Meteors because of Greek tears. Otherwise things might evolve into defence collaboration with them.

No chance, the FCAS is definitely going to use VCE tech. Maybe collaboration on FCAS engine if the Turks successfully complete theirs. But that's too much speculation.
