Modernized Su-25 by TAI. Ignore the goofy soundeffects:

According to the plan, the Su-25 attack aircraft sent to Turkey was brought to Azerbaijan after the completion of modernization works by "Turkish Aviation and Space Industry Company" (TUSAS).
Test flights of the Su-25ML (modernized "Lachin") aircraft, modernized under the name of the "Lachin" project and given to our military pilots again, were conducted.
The tests of the newly installed Turkish-made smart bombs and missiles on the plane have been completed, and the work done in general has been positively evaluated by military experts.
It should be noted that, within the framework of the 16th International Defense Industry Exhibition "IDEF - 23" in Istanbul, on July 26, the "Su-25 modernization project (Lachin) contract signing ceremony" was held between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the company "TUSAS" of the Republic of Turkey.

Every Turkish defence analyst and/or follower including me think that this is a grave mistake that could destroy the whole programme. What a shame really...
I don't know what to think about it really.

There are pro's (nuke and ballistic missile technology to Turkiye under the table, financial support for the program and low wage engineering support) and cons (technology leaking by greedy generals, angering a possible economic superpower India)

Is Pakistan really in need of a twin engined heavy fighter though?

That is how these things go. Anything taboo (falling under NPT and MTCR) goes under the table. Pakistan has various strategic weaponsystems which they display on various fairs, but the subsystems of these weaponsystems is a huge question mark. But we all know which country supplies these critical subsystems like the turbine engine, seekers and guidance systems. These subsystems all fall under conventions and treaties and thus not openly spoken about or displayed.

As for the engineering support, TUSAS already has more than 50 Pakistani engineers working for them on the Kaan in their Pakistan office, being headed by an experienced engineer previously working at Lockheed Martin. This isn't your typical lazy and unqualified Pakistani leading an institution only in name, but only the best and motivated get to work there.

"TUSAŞ is currently working with approximately 50 engineers as part of the MMU/TF-X Program at the Pakistan Office established in a university campus in Pakistan. These Pakistani engineers, who are TUSAŞ employees, are led by a highly experienced engineer of Pakistani origin who previously worked at Lockheed Martin. The number of engineers working at TUSAŞ Pakistan Office is expected to reach 100 this year. TUSAŞ is also planning to open an office in the technopark established on the old airport campus in the capital city of Islamabad. According to the information I received, the engineering team in Pakistan will complete the production of the scale model of the MMU/TF-X this year and will conduct a series of flight tests…"

With 220+ million Pakistani's, there is without doubt some brilliant minds among them wanting to work on prestigious projects. Of course, they need to be managed and given resources to shine and that is where Turkish managerial and technical expertise comes in.
