It was in one of their market analysis slides. Besides, we don't have to start this nonsensical discussion over and over again.

I mean, do you really think the design would have been frozen and the prototypes would have been built if there was no engine?

All of these have been discussed and resolved long ago. The design is finalized, the engine is chosen and there's no engine related issue.

C'mon people, be rational. As long as this -most likely- bullshit rumour isn't confirmed, there's no supply issue to talk about and we don't have to go batshit crazy over some unproven idiot with "sources" claiming that there's an embargo.

@pmc

If a delivery confirmation from the company itself is not enough for you,

Here's an another idiot from the same forum (who by the way claims to have friends inside the program) asserting the contrary. Which one will you choose to believe now, huh? At least in this case, this guy is an actual industry expert with more possibility of having actual friends inside than that cocky unproven anonymous idiot.
I don't know how but my friends who works in TAI are telling otherwise but in depth, yet i prefer not to leak it in here for sake of clarity.
Fınally, to my knowledge engines of the prototypes are delivered with the spares and the orders made for serial production are also on the queue.

Anyway, this is the end to this unnecessarily repeated discussion.

TAI General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel KOTİL made statements about the latest situation in the HÜRJET Jet Trainer and National Combat Aircraft (MMU) projects.

Answering the questions of SavunmaSanayiST.com, Prof. Dr. Temel KOTİL said, “HÜRJET will fly on March 18, 2023. Mass production for the Air Force will begin in 2025. Its marketing abroad continues. It's a very new modern device. It's a supersonic plane, flying at 1.4 Mach, that's 1.4 times the sound. It's a small F-16, but don't be fooled by its size; It will be a small beast with its ASELSAN-manufactured radars and Roketsan-made missiles.

The National Combat Aircraft will soon be resting on the landing gear, its assembly continues. Assembly is the tip of the iceberg. Behind him; There are a ton of wind tunnels, models, mechanical tests, design. We are now at the top of the iceberg. We did not stray from the date of March 18, 2023.

T929 Heavy Class Attack Helicopter ATAK-II will be able to carry 1.5 tons of ammunition. They say Apache is the best helicopter in the world, this is its equivalent. Hopefully this will be better than that as we did it later. He's just going full bridle. Nothing has changed in that either, there is no target revision.” used the phrases.

Contrary to what Prof. Kotil once said about not expecting any more UCAV/UAV from TAI, it seems that TAI has developed their version of the MIUS and it'll fly in February next year according to this journalist:

Kale has attracted some serious attention with their KTJ3200 turbojet engine. A western country wants a specially made engine from Kale:

Western countries also knocked on Turkey's door

Stating that they have not been able to make a special effort to search for a market in export, Okyay said:

"It is very interesting, the engine issue is actually an important bottleneck in the world, there are very few manufacturers in the world. There are very few companies like us that can produce engines that are not subject to any restrictions. About 10 countries came to our door after hearing the news of these engines. Serious demands. We keep some of them waiting, some of them are in contract negotiations. There are developed Western countries among them. This is obviously an even more interesting thing. The engine issue is an area where we are dependent on the West. A Western country wants an engine from us and moreover for themselves. It's important that they want us to develop a special engine. It means confidence in our ability to develop engines. This is something even more gratifying. It's not like the production of an engine that is. We are trying to evaluate these demands. We have quite a busy schedule right now, but exports are important to us."

A forum member (MADDOG) from another defense forum has visited TAI. This is what he has to say:

NOTE: Taking pictures inside the TF-X's assembly facilities is strictly prohibited. Taking pictures of Hürjet's assembly is also prohibited.

Locations visited:
-Hürjet
-F-16 structural and Özgür mod area
-MMU

HÜRJET
-Two prototypes are on the final assembly line. The number will increase to 4. There are two open slots for 2 more Hürjet fuselages.
-Piping and final assembly work in general takes A LOT of time and effort. The canopy and the tail section has gone on and off multiple times. It's all being handmade so this was expected.
-Hürjet will feature an Italian radar.
-Some crucial avionics have not arrived as of yet.
-Hürjet is set to feature a HMD.
-Hürjet's final assembly will be completed in a couple of months. Around the same time with the MMU.
-F-404's have been delivered and further deliveries are arriving as we speak. No delays or embargoes regarding the engines are expected.
-The aircraft stationed towards the right is the flying prototype, the one on the left will be used for static testing and it has its dedicated engine mock-up .
-No delays right now. Everything going according to plan. The assembly is also not going slowly, as per TAI officials.

F-16 Özgür
-There is a single Özgür prototype. It is not always stationed at TAI facilities.
-The Özgür program has gone serial! Which means the F-16's stationed there will undergo the Özgür modernization package.
-No major delays regarding the program as a whole. There is a small delay in place regarding the first aircraft waiting to be delivered. It must be noted that the Turkish Air Force is responsible for the inspection of the aircraft.
-First deliveries still expected in 2022.
-AESA integration planned in 2023.
-HMD will be developed.

MMU
-There is one aircraft being assembled. And that is the GTU-0. Like aforementioned, no RAM paint.
-Forward fuselage, mid fuselage, mid-aft fuselage (includes wing assemblies) are all completed. Aft fuselage is nearing completion.
-The canopy has been delivered.
-The forward fuselage will be transferred to the final assembly line in a VERY VERY VERY VERY short time. No pictures will be posted.
-Much of the crucial systems will be present during rollout. Certain systems such as the HMD, IRST, EOTS and other systems aren't expected to be there at first.
-TAI is using unorthodox techniques and technologies while assembling the aircraft. I'm not allowed to give insight on any of these.
-Even TAI technicians on site were surprised to see how fast the program was moving forward. Assembly work is certainly moving at an incredibly fast pace.
-There are around 200 technicians on site.
-The MMU hangar has transformed from an empty warehouse with a half-built FF, to a genuine assembly facility. This, I can proudly confirm.
-F-110's on site. No delays expected for the rest of the deliveries.
-Certainly no delays to the program as things stand.

Other info obtained:
-Hürkuş will be delivered. TurAF simply has very high standards. The aircraft is not hampered by any critical issues.
-Hürkuş 2's CDR has been completed. I can confirm it will have a composite fuselage
-The jet powered UAV... Not much to be seen unfortunately. They are certainly producing parts. And its assembly will be made at the dedicated UAV area.
-ATAK-2's assembly is going well. Most of the fuselage is not being made by TAI themselves. The company in question will deliver the fuselage and final assembly will start.

EDIT: Was set to visit MMU's simulator. But it's being managed by TurAF themselves and it was going through maintenance. So that didn't happen.
