I doubt it tho, he has more misses than hits, and this is highly likely to be false.
You mean Yusuf A? He works there at SSB. He said that the embargoes are being eased even before the Ukr-Rus war broke out. I think this process will now be sped up.

I know that he used to work at SSB, but throughout the years, he had more misses than hits, and he's not particularly very knowledgeable either. He claimed many likely false things in the past, and we didn't see many things he said come to fruition.

I just don't buy everything this "source" says. And I'd advise you to do the same. Compared to him, others have much more credibility.

I don't know if that is the case, but do you really think that the west and NATO is not united atm? Do you think they'll still be embargoing Turkey after the support it has given to Ukraine?

There have been delegations going to the US and Germany lately to discuss this issue. This war will speed things up no doubt about that.

@Erdogan right now is the time for rapproachment with the West and United States. Now is the chance to jump back on the F-35 train. Now or never.
This, but it's not up to Turkiye but to the US. Things were already changing for the better but this war will speed it up , no doubt about that.

That train is long gone my friend. You expect the U.S. to put Turkey back on the program whilst it gives hundreds of Bradleys to the YPG/SDF? It's not Turkey warming up with the East, they are pushing Turkey away deliberately.

So in short, my answer would be:

Not happening bro.

You should stop viewing geopolitics in extreme black and white. Rather it's different shades of grey.

Well, look at it this way;

Are they providing Turkey with Mk-41s, ESSMs, F-35s and many critical subcomponents for it's programs?

If the answer is no, then they do not see Turkey as an ally, rather, they see Turkey as an opponent and a challenger to their order.

So,

Not happening bro.

Holy fuck, they've started talking very recently about the embargoes and we have every reason to believe this war will speed things up for the better. Are you really this dense?

Forget about VLS and ESSM. The most urgent needs for Turkiye are the F-35's and engines for the Altay. The rest is not needed anymore as Turkiye has its own equivalents by now or very soon.

I'm just being realistic, it's better than to be optimistic and then get disappointed when that expectations do not happen in the end.

Maybe you shouldn't have a mind like a sieve. They are arming a terrorist group with Bradleys, supporting Greece on it's nonsense claims on the E.Med and embargoing Turkey at the moment. And they threatened to put Turkey in Iran's position many times in the not-so-distant past; and they've done all that to a NATO partner.
