Seriously, how bad of an impact this UKR shit would do to Turkish aerospace industry?
Depends how much of the Ukrainian aviation engine industry is or will be effected by this war. Either way, NATO and the west is closing its ranks rapidly and they can be another source for turbine engines for Turkiye.

According to someone working in the SSB (presidency of Turkish defense industry) the west is starting to ease its embargoes on Turkish defense industry.

lmao it ain't so cynical as you put it. This war is a wake up call for the west. Who could've imagined a week ago that Germany for f*cks sake would invest $100 billion in its military within 2 years and up its defense spending to more than $90 billion annually?

The whole world is seeing western and Turkish weapons destroying the Russians. This is a moment of unity and not just merely a cynical opportunity.

I doubt it tho, he has more misses than hits, and this is highly likely to be false.
