Apparently Malaysia wanted to pay in palm oil. That dissuaded Pakistan from the tender.
Yep, JF-17 and FA-50 were "normies" in that tender, and both are out.

Hurjet hasn't even flown yet. Also it comes with ToT from a producer who is yet to learn how to even do it.
Mig is an elephant in the children's room. Comes together in a juicy package with CAATSA.
And Tejas... Tejas is a legend. Needs no introduction.

Hisar O+ RF (active guided variant) first test fire at a target without warhead, scored a hit:

This one looks like the Siper missile without the rocket booster. This new RF variant is different than the older RF variant high had strakes at the bottom instead of in the middle.

Siper:

You surely know I'm always quite critical concerning the time-frame and goals of the TFX/MMU and even more a potential Pakistani involvement, however this ... ?? How reliable is this statement?

I think he (Kotil) said it in a wishful way and ended with saying 'If God wills it'. I think the chance is very high that Pakistan will eventually enter this project. But when?

But the question is, does the PAF really need a twin engine heavy fighter?

Btw, TAI has a division in Pakistan with engineers working on UAV's. They could expand on this cooperation for the MMU.

Sorry, Kotil said that the MMU is a Turkish-Pakistani fighter and it got confirmed by the AVM (seated next to him) which said that Pakistan and Turkiye are now collaborating on the MMU. Big reveal IMO.
