It's just for demonstrstion and some limited testing purposes. In fact, those parts were built with CNC machines for the purposes I mentioned. In fact, the whole reason why TAI bought a 3d printer from Sciaky, is to be able to build this bulkhead in one piece.

An another example, here is the full part:

You should at least put up the work and do your research before coming here and blustering about it.

Like, dude, we are sacrificing our time and put up some efford here to inform others about these kind of stuff, you can at least read them before talking out of nowhere.
No, that’s not the same thing, frame behind this man is a integral frame, but this frame is clearly at the front body, and the frame I talked about is at the middle of this aircraft, big difference here

The horizontal tail is quiet unique , didn’t invade the wing area like ATF/JSF, knowing it’s gonna use F-110 engine makes me wonder, does that indicates a much larger weapons bay?
I don't think those pictures are from the Singapore airshow but from older Turkish events like teknofest.

I don't understand why TAI keeps sending this old mock-up to air shows and events. Clearly it causes some confusion and misinformation among the media and about the current stage of the project.

This mock-up has been around since 2017-18 so this just shows how outdated it is.

@Philister that is an old mock-up, we literally just had pages and pages full of discussion about the latest design, that "furniture" doesn't represent the latest aircraft.

==PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT===

This is the old design:

And this is the new design:

Is it crystal clear now?

I hope we don't have to discuss this topic over and over again.

Me neither, such a waste of opportunity especially as the outer shape is known for almost a year now.

Have they made a new mockup yet? If not maybe there are additional changes that are being kept under wraps too. We'll know by 2023.

I tried my best with my paint skills to scale the size of the Flanker with the MMU, @CasualObserver @Philister :

They are both 21m in length and 14m spanwidth. If someone else can compare them visually better than I did, please go ahead by all means.

We can clearly see how large the horizontal stabilizers are on the MMU.

The nose to nozzle length is definitely shorter than that of a flanker. I think if the MMU used a similar configuration to the Raptor (where the horizontal stabilizers' leading edge merge into the main wings) they could get the length down to 20 meters.

Mate this is wrong. We don't know the scale of the pic in the slide so this is not a true comparison. And by the way, as I mentioned above, the latest design got shortened by 2 meters. I don't know what changes would cause a 2m difference. I think it's because the space between the engines were widened but a collective brainstorm would be nice, i think.

@Bltizo @Deino and others, any thoughts??

No new mockup but enough CGI of the 'new' shape although media and TAI still use the older smaller design when reporting about the MMU. The 19m length and 12m spanwith and max MTWO of 60000lbs are the old specs. The new specs are 21m length and 14m spanwith and an MTOW of +60000 lbs. Engine power was changed several times from 20000lb to 27000lb to 30000lb/15 tons mentioned by Kotil and 29000lb (F110) on a official placard with up to 35000lb rumored by DefenceTurkeyMagazine.

Interesting, could very well be the case but what do I know of aerodynamics

I assume it is right, it's official from the airforce presentation. But to be sure we should wait for better images to come out to judge the size of the MMU.

You mean lengthened? The Flanker is slightly longer and wider than the MMU(21.9m vs 21m+14.7m vs 14m). If someone else can do a prettier job (I suck at photoshopping) please by all means go ahead. We need more people in this thing. Turk military online mill has too many complainers and too little doers. We should be analyzing every single shred of info being put out there but alas.
