There are a lot of important TF-X/MMU and Hürjet related news in the English language at the page below;
Mr Dr. UĞUR ZENGIN from TUSAŞ: "TFX's simulator will be ready in 1-2 weeks. In the real cockpit of this simulator, our pilots will fly and provide real feedback."
Mr. Dr. Uğur ZENGIN: "Unlike the Hürjet Demirkuş (Ironbird) system, the TFX Demirkuş test system will have internal weapon slots and these covers will be opened and closed like real TFX prototypes. While the pilot is flying in the real cockpit via the simulator, the Demirkus system will also be operating."
Mr. Uğur Zengin: "40-50 different test facilities are being set up for TFX. When these are ready in 1-2 years, we will become a company like no other in the world. Bird strike facility, fuel systems test facility, lightning facility, ironbird facility, anaechoic chambers, wind tunnels... all are in same institute"
"TfX part production has started, our assembly equipment is being prepared, our prototype building is being constructed. We will then move on to component assemblies and the final assembly process. Towards the end of the year, we will be able to see TFX MMU on its components and with the landing gear integrated."
"The design of the TFX MMU model, which will make its first flight in 2025, is about to freeze. Its wind tunnel tests continue. We need to do thousands of hours of flight test activities with that model."
Mr. Uğur ZENGİN: "There are 2250 main carrier structural parts on TFX. Some of them are composite, the other part is titanium and aluminum parts. As of today, the design of approximately 1000 of these 2250 pieces has been completed and transferred to production. 500 of them are about to be transferred to production. In other words, we can say that 75% of our TFX structural parts are ready to a certain extent."

Designed by Vestel Defense which changed its name to LENTATEK.
We'll probably hear more about this drone very soon.
They all look the same
I wonder what the consequences will be for Turkish aerospace projects if Russia invades Ukraine like rumors say? Won't that trow a spanner in their projects? Akinci, MIUS and the ATAK II rely on engines from Motor-Sich which is situated in Zaporizhzhia which might very well be occupied by Russia in the event of an invasion.
Can Turkey find alternatives for these engines? The Atak II could use the T700 but wont be ideal because it's relatively weak or it could use European equivalents like the Makila 2A1 until the indigenous 3000hp turboshaft engine is ready, but will the Europeans allow that? The MIUS could use the FJ44-4 for its subsonic version and the F125 for the supersonic but will the US allow that?
I hope Turkey achieves to get all the smart heads of Ukrainian gas turbine industry out of Ukraine and into Turkey before it's too late.
Dude ,you shouldn’t be happy about this, you should wish it’s not the actual design, it’s some flanker-era technology
