"TUSAŞ General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil: [ARSAT SG-1 satellite export] We seem to have found another customer. It has progressed a lot, but we cannot share it because it is not completed yet. A third client also appeared. We want to make 5 satellites (for export)."

which claims, specifically?

If you look in that tweet and the altogether following four tweets, there are individual parts shown from that wreck listing each individual serial number, factory and country it originates from.

Again - since there was just a quite ugly discussion on that topic in anther forum - , if you want to show the whole picture of a certain system or tell a full story and not only the parts you like, this shall also be included. I never said, the TB2 is a bad system nor anything down-rating its capabilities. I only hate these hyperbolic attitude "it is the best and fully indigenous" and anyone who does not agree is a troll. That's it.

And I know of one foreign part used in the TB2 that no one else seems to have noticed.

It is not about whatever small systems the TB2 has or hasn't. It's about you posting this out of the blue as an obvious bait because of some grievances you have at another forum and then some more. And you got holidays too since you are a teacher so instead of enjoying your free time, you rather spend it here, there and where ever baitposting.

I don't expect better from you though. Consider yourself lucky that I even responded to you.

Happy holidays!

Apparently the CATS EO system has gone through a very deep improvement program since it was first unveiled in 2014, that it can be considered a new variant of the original CATS. The improvements have already been discussed in detail in DefenceTurkey magazine Issue 108. The CATS is now precise enough to support the MAM-L up to 17km and up to 30k+ feet altitude:

ASELSAN Delivers Updated Configuration of CATS FLIR System!

According to the information we obtained at the TeknoFest 2021 Festival, ASLESAN continues to deliver the updated configuration of CATS, which has new generation cameras, whose main problems such as image stabilization, vibration problem and image quality in laser marking, which were previously reported in the press, have been resolved.

September 27, 2021

Although it looks similar to the first version delivered in the first half of 2016, it is stated that the entire architecture has been completely changed and the optics have been updated in the new configuration. In this context, ASELSAN engineers reconsidered the CATS FLIR System down to the smallest detail, with a dedicated team and dedicated project management, formed with the support of the senior management, it was seen where and what mistakes were made, what problems were encountered, and the problems were resolved. According to the information I have obtained, MAM-L ammunition can be supported with great precision up to a range of 17km with CATS in the updated configuration, which is qualified even for 30,000ft+ altitudes.
