The latest status of the F-16 ÖZGÜR Modernization Project has been announced. SSB Aircraft Department Head Abdurrahman Şeref CAN stated that mass production was prepared within the scope of the project.
The ÖZGÜR Project, carried out by TAI for the F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft in the inventory of the Turkish Air Force, has come to an end. Within the scope of the project, in which many avionics of Turkish F-16s, including the mission computer, will be nationalized, it is aimed to start mass production this year.

F-16 Block 30 ÖZGÜR Project
T.R. The F-16 ÖZGÜR Project, initiated by the Presidency Defense Industry Presidency and carried out by TUSAŞ, aims to modernize the avionic modernization of the F-16 Block 30 fighter jets, which are in the inventory of the Turkish Air Force Command.
F-16 Block 30 fighter jets within the scope of modernization;
National Mission Computer, System Interface Unit, Cockpit Upper Front Control Panel, Fuel Hydraulic Indicator, Engine Indicator Display, Emergency Indicator, National Sound Safety Device, National Friend - Foe Identification (IFF) System, Multimode Receiver, Inertial Navigation System, Interface The Blanking Unit will be equipped with a Medium Cockpit Indicator and a Color Multifunction Indicator.
The project can also be applied to other F-16 blocks.
