You mean like they baited Russia who got into a foolish war to take over Ukraine ? Lol
On that part i agree, actually Russia is white and has the exact mindset as the U.S,UK,France and other western powers, so i guess its easier for Russia to go against them mkre directly , sinve Russia also has her own imperial ambitions just like Western powers..hence the constant clashes between them in Ukraine, Syria, Georgia, etc. China is different , i dont think China has any imperial ambitions unlike Russia and the West, China is more of a mercantilist power, so its harder and more complicated for the US to force their hand.

I dont think its more about that. I think ita jjst that Trump is an old delusional man with an overinflated ego and almost senile. Most of the thing he does he doesn't really think them through..plus he doesnt even consider advive from his advisors, hes someone who does whatsever comes to his head eithout thinking it through. He is unlike any other president in the US, and he is not even someone from a political background. So he's an outlier in this aspect. So you can't really rationalise his decisions with such grandiose geo politocal thinking. When hes gone, the US will be bavk to its old self.

People like Trump are complex characters and it's impossible to put them in a box. Trump is like the David Beckham of the political world, he's overrated by those that support him and underrated by those who don't. I say that to say this: he's not as stupid as you think and it's dangerous to underestimate him. You may be right that he doesn't think things through but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a broader strategic plan to focus on China. Like I said, he's playing nice with Russia at the moment because he wants to get them on side so China will be given maximum attention.
