While I agree with you on that the US political system is becoming a circus by the day, comparing it to China isn't fair. Technically the US is a federation in which the governors are not subordinate to the POTUS. In China, the local authorities are strictly under the thumb of their superordinates.Imagine if the governor of Guangdong publicly and embarrassingly had a corny immature public spat on social media like this with Xi Jinping. Every western news media would declare on their front page, "The end of China is here! The CCP has collapsed finally!"
Again, I will say, they're the most clown-world country in the history of mankind.
